I think DakotaStew had the most real chemistry out of all of Kristen's relationships. And just from their interviews/Kristen's comments I strongly believe Kristen had some kind of crush on her at least. It wasn't even one comment, she was overkill with the flirting/faux-flirting or whatever it was to the point where it got suspicious.

Yeah. Although I believe in RobSten, I’m kinda sad that The Twilight Saga got in the way for DakotaStew to develop. If it wasn’t for the PR for the saga, DakotaStew would’ve become a legit couple.
(Well that’s just me.)
Another thing was Dakota’s age. When they were doing the Runaways, Dakota’s definitely off-limits.

I’d be less sad if she had it with a girl instead. shot Wouldn’t that be hot? Hotter than a 41 yr. old married man with two kids?!

Aww, c’mere. You aren’t alone. Many of us feel that way right now. Hmm, will my explanation make you feel a bit better?
(I’m not saying this to protect her, this could apply to the rest of us.)

We see Kristen as someone flawless, kind, smart, kick-ass, carefree and cool. We made her our ideal selves, our heroine—because of the tough facade she possesses. Everything about her makes us swoon. We’re crazy for her movies, photoshoots, feature articles and merchandises (We even bite papz photo just to get a glimpse of her!).

However, all of these stuff I’ve said don’t make her perfect. Despite the good side she displays, there’s a lot we can’t see because the Kristen we see is limited. That’s the only thing that separates her from us. She is an actress. She is a model and an endorser. But then, KStew’s a woman who has her hormones to deal with and the temptations around her are too much so the chances of this happening is great. She is human after all and she commits mistakes just like the rest of us. She’s not the only one who cheats (I’m NOT saying that we should tolerate cheating), there are even more who do worse. My point here is, this is all about human nature. We either deny or accept, forgive and forget or hold grudges. All of us are inclined to act in both good and bad ways.

You should’ve been prepared for this, dear. It’s the reality and we should learn to accept it.
